1.2311 Tool steel is a type die steel which has been pre-hardened by the "super clean" production process, showing a high degree of purity and excellent uniform structure, excellent polishing and light etching engraving.1.2311 is commonly supplied in the hardened and tempered condition with a supply hardness of approximately 300HB.

This steel gives an excellent polished finish and is one of the most widely accepted specifications for machine cut plastic moulds and zinc die casting dies. This grade gives excellent wear resistance but if maximum surface hardness is required for compression moulding plastic dies or similar tools, the steel can be case hardened or nitrided.

Alloyed and pre-toughened tool steel, especially suitable for polishing and nitriding; high dimensional stability.After heat treatment, machining and polishing performance is good, can be carried out, and can be processed, suitable for chromium surface treatment, material hardness uniform, good toughness, good mechanical processing performance.

A wide range of pre-hardened hardness and good hardness uniformity .The hardness of Guangda 2311 between 28-34 HRC can be adjusted according to customer's requirements, cross hardness fluctuations is ±1.5HRC

1. Household appliances, TV box cover ,air conditioning shell molds.Large section size plastic mould  thickness up to 1500mm.
2. Car inner decoration die ,such as dashboard die ,sound box die ,etc.
3. Die mounts, zinc die casting molds, liners, supports and injection molds.
4. The versatility of plastic die steel and its high tensile properties allow it to be used in a variety of other applications such as shafts, rails and wear strips.
5. Applied to in zinc, aluminum, magnesium and its alloy die-casting mould ;
